Common Activities

MIDI on drum kit

Midi Note output on kit clip

Affect entire needs to be off

Sampling a drum kit

Use play all of the instruments in a drum kit using the sequencer

Record the track to audio

Create a new audio recording
Press Record, then Play through sequence

Create new kit and load sample into kit

Hold the Shift button. Press the Kit button. Turn the Select (Settings) encoder. Hold the Select (Settings) encoder. Select SLICE from the menu. Press the Select (Settings) encoder. Select SLICES from the menu. Press the Select (Settings) encoder.

Set Release of each sound in the Kit to 50

This will make it so that the entire clip plays in the slice

Doubling a track is very easy. Just press Shift and < > Knob in.

Copy & Pasting a pattern is also very easy

Copy is "Learn" + <> Knob In. It uses the root note as the copying range horizontally

TIL about this amazing tip

I could play from a specific point by simply holding down the <> Knob and pressing Play. This works in both song mode and arranger mode.

Not easy to do. The creation of multisamples automatically relies on being able to create and set a save-to folder for a workflow to be possible.

5. Runtime Settings aka Community Features Menu

In the main menu of the deluge (accessed by pressing "SHIFT" + the "SELECT" knob) there is an entry called "Community Features" that allows changing behavior and turning features on and off in comparison to the original and previous community firmwares. Here is a list of all options and what they do:
