Lowering the dice rolls (which is doubling up on randomness) really improved the game.
Setting Expectations

The length of this campaign is similar to Jaws of the Lion. It's not meant to be super tactical, but more about the story and decisions we make. Like in DnD, the combat is better considered as the driver for the story's tension and eventual outcome/ending.
