Hello! I'm Leo Szeto
Thank you for taking the time to visit my digital garden. I like to design things, play games, make music, and experience new foods. My wife and I live in Burbank, California with our two children, Zoey and Alyssa.
Professionally, I'm a well-rounded Engineer with a background doing automation in big science/themed entertainment. I graduated from UCLA with a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, and have been fortunate to work on some truly remarkable projects with great people. I was part of the opening design team at Shanghai Disneyland, where I had a leading role in developing and testing the Software of a best-in-class Roller Coaster. I'm now a director of control systems and electrical engineering at Nusano, where I help supply the fight against cancer by industrializing medical radioisotope production.
In my free time, I continue to enjoy learning about both technical and creative subjects. I intend to share some of my journey here in case this helps on the same path.
How to use this page?
Unlike a blog or a portfolio, this is a digital garden, which is intended to be a living journal of thoughts, information, and ideas to be shared. It is built in Obsidian and published using the digital garden plugin.
A digital garden is an online space at the intersection of a notebook and a blog, where digital gardeners share seeds of thoughts to be cultivated in public. Contrary to a blog, where articles and essays have a publication date and start decaying as soon as they are published, a digital garden is evergreen: digital gardeners keep on editing and refining their notes. - Source
